Enjoy the diverse beauty of Williamstown whilst supporting a great cause.

Open Williamstown is an annual fundraiser for cancer research. Now in its fourth year, this event allows patrons to explore the fascinating modern and historic properties that make up the iconic seaport of Williamstown.

It will be held on Sunday, 25th March, 2018 from 12.30pm

Starting at the Williamstown Town Hall, 104 Ferguson Street, patrons collect their booklets which double as their entry tickets to the properties. There is a map of the recommended route within the booklet. The route is a leisurely stroll with fantastic views of the Melbourne CBD from the local waterfront. A mini bus will leave the town hall at regular intervals for patrons who are unable to complete the route on foot.

This year we have six completely different styles of properties for patrons to explore, ranging from those with historical and architectural significance to the rapidly emerging more modern designs.

An exciting new addition to this year’s event is the opening for view of the HMAS Castlemaine, complementary to Open House ticket holders.

The day will conclude at the Town Hall where patrons will be able to enjoy light refreshments and relax in front of the entertainment provided by the Newport Folk and Fiddle Club. Please refer to the Hub page for other activities available throughout the afternoon.

All funds raised will go to the Cancer Council Victoria to support the quest to eradicate the forgotten cancers.
